Emory Payment Plan


Please Note:
Your OPUS balance will continue to show as outstanding throughout the duration of the payment plan. However, if payments are received on time, no holds or finance charges will apply. If you have any questions, please contact us.
Any balance not covered by financial aid is due by the published deadline each term. Emory has partnered with Nelnet Business Solutions to develop a monthly payment plan for students who prefer to spread their payments throughout the term.

The Nelnet Payment Plan is an auto debit system, giving students and parents confidence in knowing their tuition will be paid on time each month. Depending on the timing of your enrollment, you have the option of two payment dates, the 5th or 25th of the month.

To enroll in the payment plan, please log in to OPUS and select the Student Account tile Make a Payment Enroll/Manage My Payment Plan. Follow the steps to reach the Nelnet site. Please ensure your pop-up blocker is disabled. Once your payment plan enrollment is complete, your OPUS account will be updated.

Nelnet charges an enrollment fee of $25 for the payment plan - this will be included in your first installment.

Emory reserves the right to revoke a student’s eligibility to enroll in the Nelnet Payment Plan at any time. Reasons for the revocation of this payment option include but are not limited to unpaid prior term charges, frequent failed enrollment attempts, and/or repeated returned payments.
