How to Add funds to Eagle Dollars

Check Your Balances
It is highly recommended that you check your financial activity periodically to insure you know your current balances as well as to check for accuracy of transactions. Eagle Dollars and Dooley Dining Dollars transactions can be viewed and balances copied and/or printed all in one convenient location; the EmoryCard Web Center.

To access the EmoryCard Web Center, Click Here. First time users will be required to create a pin in order to view the aforementioned information; select Create Pin Code for First Time User on the far left menu. Once your Pin Code is set, you can then navigate your way to all the information needed.

Please Note: The Emory ID and Empl ID are the same number. When creating your Pin Code, it must contain at least 7 digits and at least one letter.

Eagle Dollars Account
The EmoryCard becomes your personal debit card when you open an Eagle Dollars account. The card provides a safe, convenient way to make purchases on- and off-campus without having to carry cash. You can also view your purchase history and balance using the EmoryCard Web Center. There are no monthly fees or interest charges and there is no required minimum balance.

Eagle Dollars are dollar for dollar, declining balance funds that reside on your EmoryCard. Funds can be added to your account in a variety of ways, can be used by Faculty, Staff and Students, and are accepted at a number of on- and off-campus locations that accepts the EmoryCard. A full list of Eagle Merchants is provided under the Locations tab within the EmoryCard Services website. Through the Eagle Merchants program, you can use your Eagle Dollars at participating off-campus Eagle Merchants.

Once funds are deposited into your Eagle Dollars account, they cannot be withdrawn unless you officially withdraw, transfer, or graduate from the University. Any unused Eagle Dollars will rollover from semester to semester until you leave Emory University. You may not transfer deposited funds between the Eagle Dollars account and Dooley Dining Dollars account. Once funds have been deposited into your Eagle Dollars account, they may only be withdrawn by way of purchases. You cannot obtain cash advances from your Eagle Dollars account.

Once you discontinue your involvement at Emory University, either through graduation or the termination of your status as a Faculty, Staff or Student, you will be eligible for a refund. For Students, any unused Eagle Dollar funds of $25.00 or more will automatically be credited to your student account. For Faculty and Staff, any unused Eagle Dollar funds of $25.00 or more will automatically be reimbursed by check through the university Accounts Payable department. Eagle Dollar funds with a balance of $24.99 or less will only be refunded upon written request to the EmoryCard Services Office.

Refund requests from graduating seniors must be submitted by May 31st in the year in which they are graduating. Refund requests from Faculty, Staff and non-graduating students must be submitted within 30 days of leaving the university. Refunds may be requested by email at: emorycard@emory.edu. Please be sure to include your full name, ID number and reason for request.
