Checklist for New and International Students

We strongly suggest all new and international students review the checklist below. Completing this simple list ahead of your arrival will save you time, avoid lines and even save you money. All items can be completed in minutes and all are on line. Do these today!

Upload your photo to create your EmoryCard
Login to OPUS :
- to create a guest ID (to allow account access to parents/others)
- to create an additional "Bill Payer" email address (for others to receive our email notices)
- to view your Registration Billing Statement and Student Account activity
- to sign up for a payment plan
- to make a payment

If you are an international student, take advantage of our new payment method with Western Union Business Solutions (less expensive than wire transfer and payment can be made in the currency of your choice converted to U.S dollars.) (See video) There are now more than 50 currencies exchangeable in this solution. (See available currencies) Beginning March 15, 2013 payments from China are now possible! See the Announcements section of this website for details.

To have your university ID card ready for you upon your arrival, we ask that you submit a professional color photo. You can upload a color snapshot showing a full front view of your head and shoulders according to the requirements shown on this site. By using this process you will avoid lines and save valuable time. By submitting this photo for your student ID you agree this photo may be used by Emory University Student Records and or the University Health Service.
